CAC registration in Nigeria — done for you in days, not weeks
Topweb Technologies is an experienced CAC registration agent. We register business names, private limited companies and incorporated trustees for clients anywhere in Nigeria, and handle every post-incorporation filing afterwards.
Registering with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is the first thing any serious business in Nigeria must do. It makes you legal, lets you open a corporate bank account, bid for contracts, get a TIN and SCUML certificate, apply for loans and grants, and protects your business name from being taken by someone else.
You can register yourself on the CAC portal — but rejected names, wrong forms and failed payments are common, and each mistake costs time and money. We do it correctly the first time, follow up with CAC daily, and send your certificate as soon as it is approved. Based in Gwarinpa, Abuja; serving Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano and every state remotely.

CAC registration — frequently asked questions
How much is CAC registration in Nigeria?
Business name registration costs from ₦40,000 all-in with Topweb (CAC filing fee, name reservation and our service fee included). A private limited company costs from ₦60,000 depending on share capital, and incorporated trustees (NGO, church, association) from ₦150,000. See the price table above — no hidden charges.
How long does CAC registration take?
A business name can be done in as little as 6 hours once the name is available. A limited company takes about 1–2 weeks. Incorporated trustees take longer (4–8 weeks) because CAC requires newspaper publications. Delays almost always come from wrong filings — which is exactly what an accredited agent prevents.
Can I register with CAC online from anywhere in Nigeria?
Yes. CAC registration is fully online, so it doesn’t matter whether you are in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano or abroad. We handle everything remotely — you send your details on WhatsApp and receive your certificate as a PDF.
What is the difference between a business name and a limited company?
A business name (enterprise) is the cheapest and simplest structure for sole traders and small businesses, but it is not separate from you. A private limited company (Ltd) is a separate legal entity with limited liability, more credibility with banks, investors and government contracts, and it can have multiple shareholders. Compare the two here.
What documents do I need for CAC registration?
Two proposed names, a valid ID (NIN slip, international passport, driver’s licence or voter’s card), phone number, email, residential and business address, and a passport photograph. For a company you also need details of directors and shareholders and the share capital. We send you a one-page checklist.
Do I need a lawyer to register a company in Nigeria?
No. Since the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, you don’t need a lawyer. You need an accredited agent who files correctly. Topweb Technologies is an experienced CAC registration agent and files hundreds of registrations without rejection.
What do I get after registration?
Your CAC certificate of registration, the certified status report / extract with your RC or BN number, and the approved application forms. For companies, the memorandum and articles of association. These are what banks and clients ask for.
Can Topweb also handle my annual returns and post-incorporation filings?
Yes — annual returns, change of name, change of address, adding or removing directors, increase in share capital, certified true copies and status reports. See post-incorporation services.
